I've begun finding what looks like mosquito bites all over my body, even though I haven't been outside during prime mosquito hours. They itch like no other, but other than that don't really cause anything else. Ben |
You live in Texas and don't know what chiggers are??? |
|
If they are just lots and lots of tiny papules, some with pustules it is probably heat rash. Bug bites of some kind? Maybe. Bedbugs? Scabies? typically around ankles wrists, web spaces in hands, groin, belt line, etc. Viral? Contact dermatitis? blisters Areas of contact Strep can give a fine papular rash or psoriatic lesions. Pityriasis. Probably viral. Elliptical lesions, salmon colored, 1.5 to 2 cm in size except for the first one which is larger and usually precedes the others by days or even weeks. A few possibilities. You don't give much info. |
That sounds like a fair possibility. |

I just got back from ohio and I had to pull a few ticks off myself. Didn't even think about chiggers. Ben |
They're around my ankles (Just where the top of the sock begins), groin, and waist line (A few down south). Itches like no other. Ben |
Nope. She's all good, it's just me. While I went on a walk with her I found about a dozen ticks on me that I picked off....didn't see any chiggers though. What do chiggers look like? Ben |

THe only time I ever had problems with chiggers was when I was a small boy and played on the grass alot. Scabies are pretty scary IMO. They get under your skin and lay eggs I think. I think you can see lines or tracks under your skin from when they move. At least this is what I was told. |
Wow, I'm hungry. I swear I saw some of those fellars for sale at krogers the other day. Poor man's shrimp. Ben |
Very, very small, almost microscopic and red. |
