Game? What? I cannot believed you clicked on that! I was searching the web and I came across something called Warhammer 40,000. I had no clue what it was so I did the right thing and googled it. I couldn't believe it! There was an entire website dedicated to this game. I went to the website and found out more; apparently this game is pretty dag gone popular especially with the British. I read the website and took the "Intro Tour". After alot of reading and looking at the pictures I think I am going to give this game a go. From reading you assemble an army of plastic and metal minitures and then you paint them. Next you play with them, fighting squad based battles with tanks and APCs. To play you need the following; 1. A Rulebook ($50) 2. The Codex for your army ($20) 3. A Leader ($~10) 4. Two Squads of Troops (~$35 each) Thats not too bad. I went ahead and ordered the above stuff off the websites store and I think I am going to go to my local hobby shop and play a few games. I'm interested in what you guys think about this, because I was immediatly taken by the colorful figures and the fact that I had the chance to be general and play out battles using them. |
