They have always been that way. No dissent is permitted because it might upset the easily upsettable, which is a lot of them, and in rare cases, it might even change a mind or two. Under "party" rules orginally used by their famous mentors, the CPSU, as stated by Lenin, no dissent can be permitted. The purity of the message must be maintained. To invite counterrevolutionairy debate is to invited counterrevolution and the ultimate end of the Party. THAT is why the REAL Gulag existed.

When I think of the Dumocratic Party (Liberal left) and DU, I can't help but wonder how so many people ended up mentally retarded!! Seriously, it baffles me that it is so obvious that they are so retarded and are still allowed political representation as one of the two major parties in America!! How the hell was this allowed to happen??? I can see a few 'loonies' slipping through the cracks here and there, but on such a mass scale it is unfathomable!! It hurts my head when I think how fucked up they really are.....
