being taken over by people willing to IGNORE THE LAW and pursue their dream of living a good life in America. Of course, they don't care about the AWB or other laws that restrict their freedom, it's not like they're going to OBEY them....

I'm watching all this with great interest and an eye for details.......

The Bill of rights died with the rest of the consitution in 1865, the recent ruling and dissent by SCOTUS Thomas noted the feds can regulate quilting bee's thus showing the future of the second amendment and the right to self defense.

I use the phrase rule of law and it is judged sedition by members of this forum and equated with rebellion and the ovethrow of criminal government {redundant i know} but none the less the chior is sinful and needs preaching to.

Background, I have a relative on the southern border {cali} that has suffered many times from the crime of criminal trespass aliens, my father died a slow painful death of cancer, i spent time in the VA hospital helping patients neglected by staff besides just my father, the point is my father dehydrated for 13 days unable to even drink water because of the pain killers, medical use of marijuana would have eased his suffering,( I didnt know it then is was over a decade ago,) but the point is federal intrusan into state jurisdiction,{10th Amendment/9thamendment} [ WA has  "medical marajuana" law]  shows the evils of centralized federal government the founder of America warned against.

All I advocate is the rule of law under the constitution in the spirit in which it was intedned.

Quote from Thomas Jefferson

"On every question of construction [of the Constitution] let us carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or intended against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed."

CALIFORNIA IS:

A nice place to vist for a short time, but you wouldn't want to live there- especially in the LA and SF areas.

Parts of that state are mind-bogglingly beautiful. But it just ain't worth it.

You live in Washington State and you're watching Californians?  Careful of your own backyard.

I understand King county is already occupied territory.  You're only a few hours up the interstate from SF.  I'm no Cali lover, but what they're experiencing in Cali will happen to all of us within one or two generations at the current rate of change.

ETChange:  poor word choices were used to convey my point.

Well duh.  You guys have a liberal governor, liberal house, senate, liberal cities.
I don't mean to offend the Washington crew here, but its true IMO.

I concur.  Politically intolerant state.  They won't hear of anything that isn't PC.

Well actually politics and political issues aside, you probably would want to live there is you could afford it.  (The places you can afford, you probably wouldn't want to live there) Especially if you use snow shovels and leaf mulchers.

Or if you were an illegal you'ld want to live here.  They are just a little more goal oriented.

I'd say this is our fault as well for not doing anything. Not putting our foot down or protesting. I'd be nice if we could organize a huge protest right in Washington over the shit that's gone on with our rights being stripped away.
