OK... I've been waiting for the newest Zombie flick to come out, "Land Of The Dead."  A few scenes in the trailor got me thinking.

In the movie it looked like Zombies travled under water with almost no difficulity.
Not to mention that the zombies were communicating with each other and planning out strategies for human deaths.
Finally the one thing that got me scared as hell... I saw a zombie with a full auto rifle, using it properly.

Who is to say that Zombies will be slow moving, brainLESS flesh eating monsters.

For all we know the upcomming Zombie attack could be from something we are not even prepared for.  Zombies with a hive mind that gains more inteligence with every claimed victom.  They kill you and your intelect is added to the hive mind (or in short StarTrek Borg Zombies).

I read numerous comics and in one of my regular reading comics Zombies are in fact intirgrated into society.  Though the Zombie population does not sleep nor have to eat in order to live.  NOTE they retain all their knowledge, personality and therefore the same person they were before they died.

That being said... I have some questions to ask.

Are we ready for a Zombie attack or do we think that we are ready?

Also who is to say that when Zombies come around they will be flesh eating monsters.
For all we know they could be the same person just undead.
On the other side of the token they could be a hive mind of human flesh eating creatures intent on taking over the world.

Also who's to say that the Zombies could somehow upon infection put the body in overdrive therefore making the Zombies faster and stronger than a normal human?

You obviously learned nothing from the training films.

Who cares if they are the same people after becoming RLF's? Maybe they are just same old nice people they always were, except for the whole rotting flesh and wanting to eat your flesh thing. I don't give a shit, I'm still gonna make the cranium shot.

The rest is simply to be dealt with as it comes.

It's obvious that the walking dead are evolving/mutating at an accelerated rate. When our visionary leader George Romero shot his 1st documentary Night of the Living Dead, they were slow lumbering creatures. They stayed that way though his subsequent documentaries Dawn(1978 version) and Day of the Dead.Recent evidence shows that they have been transformed into a far greater menace.Reference 28 Days Later and the new Dawn of the Dead Documentary.

In our leaders upcoming work Land of the Dead,he will show incontrovertible proof of the danger humanity is faced with. They are now fast and they can think/plan.Now maybe their intelligence is on a very rudimentary level but they can still think/scheme/plot.I beg all ARFCOM members to wake up before it's too late. The truth is starring you in the face.

We are stronger than them...but soon,I think...They be stronger than us...

+1.

The originals went into it better.  From the second or third movie, the heart was not beating, therefore nopulse.

Without fresh oxegen getting to cells they won't function as well.  Therefore they would have to be slower and dumber than alive.  To what degree, that's for us nerds to argue about.
