I went to Mexico once while on vacation and you could buy adrenalin in little bottles to inject into yourself.  I don't know if it was real adrenalin but there was no way in hell I was going to try to find out.  Moral of the story: Stay out of Mexico.

Epinephrine is Adrenalin. Commonly carried & used for anaphylaxis. Google willg et you more info.
