In 1984 six death row inmates escaped from a maximum security prison in Mecklenberg VA. Substitute the town and state with yours, the LE took a break from shooting dogs to drive through and announce for no-one to go outside and to lock yourself in until further notice. What do you have right now to use for home defense? I men get up, get it, and be ready to use it against potentially six death row inmates. For me, a Beretta 96, three 10 round magazines, a Rossi 12 Ga stagecoach gun and 25 rounds of buckshot. Two dogs outside that I'll most likely let in. What have you got, not what you can get. Thinking about this made me decide to keep one of my EBRs here in the house with a few magazines. rk |
I'd be fifteen minutes deciding which AR goes with my 1911. This happened here a few years back, believe it or not. It was three guys though, and they were a more domesticated form of escapee, not death row inmates. The police asked everyone to stay inside and be alert till the situation was resolved. It was. |

You know, it's posts like this that remind me that it's okay to have two AK-47's with two 75 round drums and a dozen or so 30 rounders and a few thousand rounds of ammo. Then the Glocks, Mossberg, Beretta 92, and Semi-Auto Mini Uzi ( Thank you Vector! ) The AK's are first, and main line of defense. Screw those cons. I work for the DOC and I already hate those retard bastard-faced bastards!  God, I need to enlist.
