I am graduating from college soon and I was hoping to do some foreign contract work. I have already put in applications with KBR and I was wandering if anyone here knows of other corporations hiring people from the states. I'd love to hear from anyone with personal experience and links to old threads on this topic would be greatly appreaciated. (I cant search GD since I'm not a team member) fwiw, my degree is in Biology and I have roughly 5 years of IT expierience. |
Unless your IT experience is in a VERY high-demand area for KBR, I wouldn't start counting my chickens yet..... |

You can always go to Taiwan, Japan, Korea, or Thailand and teach Engrish. Thailand -- no money, lots of drunken expats and cheap hookers Korea -- decent money, lots of drunken locals and moderately-priced hookers, crappy environment Japan -- good money, extremely expensive cost of living, can't afford to drink, nice environment Taiwan -- decent money, lots of drunks of all sorts and full range of hookers, crappy environment |
