I saw on Saved by the bell this morning as I was flipping though the channels that Zack was going to ask Kelly to go steady with him. This is something that I have never understood, on these shows they go out, kiss, be together, but they are not officially dating. ![]() I guess I come from the school of where if you go out on a date it is to see if you want to get into a relationship, if it don't work out you don't go on another date, but if it does work out then you are dating or exclusive dating or going steady as they put it on the show. So what is your opinions on this? Can you kiss, go on dates with someone and not be "going steady"? |
My opinion. Yuo need to watch better T.V. if Saved By the Bell is your chioce of shows. Going steady? I don't think kids use that term any more. |
After watching ESPN, CNN, Mamas Family (whole season several time), you kind of run out of stuff to listen to in the mornings, Watching TV is one way I wake up, no need to start the day fast. I agree with you that kids don't use that term any more, but even when I was a kid we didn't use it, so why would they on this show, I just think it is stupid. BTW I only caught like the first 5 minutes of the show before I left for work. |
I wasn't asking for help, I just wanted to know if anyone actually did that stuff. I am married and both my wife and myself never dated then went steady, after the first date we were a couple. We both just though it was weird to go out on dates and not be dating(going steady) |
Are you 3 or just a homophobe? ![]() There is not much on at 6 in the morning, after already checking out ESPN, CNN I usually flip though the channels and this was on, watched a couple of minutes before leaving for work. Just because you see it on a show doesn't mean you are watching the whole show. ETA: I am married with a kid on the way. Linky |
