ARRRRRGGGRRRRAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

I replaced my gas tank about a month ago in my '76 CJ-7 and now it's leaking!!!  $150.00 for a no good piece of shit tank.  I can't find any holes and it's dry on top.  But from the weld/seam all the way around it's seeping gas  Hell I just filled the tank and it's leaked half of it out.

Are the Plastic tanks any better??? And do they fit??? The replacement tank (steel) was a mother to get in place with all the lines ect...  Anyone else ever have this problem???  Good thing I don't smoke...    I just can't,  for the world of me,  figure out why or how it started leaking...Out of the blue...

I installed a plastic tank on my CJ 2 about two years ago, and have had no problems.

Plastic does not seem to allow water to condensate on the inside as much as a steel tank does. The plastic tank had the pickup tube coming in from the top, as opposed to the bottom like the original. Less chance for the line to pick up anything.
