What do all of you guys/gals wear and what is your primary occupation(conditions you work in, specifically)? I wear some Bates Durashock 8" Tropical to work(navy). I usually buy these because they're relatively cheap(about 75 bucks at the NEX IIRC) and I don't mind too much if I scratch the hell out of them. I got the tropical ones because the engineroom gets a tad hot  . I just got some Red Wing 2405s.....man these things are so damned comfortable. I'll probably just wear these when I go out camping and when I'm wearing jeans around town. I honestly had no real work use for them, I've just always wanted a pair to see if all of the rumors were true. After all, my mother and father had theirs for ~20 years and they worked in the oilfield.  I've heard alot about Danners, are they as good as everyone says?  edited to add pictures |
