Taking first year Japanese this summer.  Getting nervous.  Looks hard.  I must be a masachist.  I'm doing this for fun

Real voodoo zombies are from Jamaica - that's a third-world nation.

Talking about what's in third-world nations has been over-done.

Ummm no. Red Stripe Beer is from Jamaica. Zombies and Voodoo are from Haiti.

Huge difference.

Also Jamaica isn't quite third world and Haiti pioneers the concept of a fourth world country.

Tofu is only a flavor sponge.  It is like eggplant in this respect.

I prefer ribeye, seasoned with only pepper and salt, broiled to a barely rare state so the edge fat is slightly browned on the edges.  Served with taters or rice and steamed brocolli, the greens seasoned with only salt and lots of fresh ground black pepper.

Served with Wild Turkey and ice water.

So there is a fundraiser at my college this weekend for the culinary arts program. It's highly dependent on donations from local stores and vendors, and when I was logging the donations in I went through a box of T-shirts from Southern Wine & Spirits Dist. and one of them was an X-L black shirt with "The Macallan" with their single malt scotch logo embroidered onto the breast area.

Made me think of ya.

Given the Federal Tax Rates in 1957, after applying the appropriate inflationary adjustments, just what would the current Federal Tax Rates be?

Technical note:  In the mid 1950’s the Federal Tax on a gallon of gasoline was about 25% of the total price.

Speak of those that stand in the leaves.

Tell us of the terrible deeds of those that wander on legs of false truth.

Mexican culture?  Do you mean the rich bastards that keep Mexico the shithole that it is?  They have no culture other than oppression of the mestizos.  Or do you mean the Native American-Spanish mixes?  The ones the rich bastards running Mexico oppress.

Mexico has no culture to be proud of.  What about Chiapas?  The plight of the Zapatistas?

And our taxes support inner-city welfare families. You got a problem with that?
