Anyone happen to watch the show on animal planet about el chupacabra last night?
4/27/2005 6:29:52 AM EDT
[#1]
shouldn't it be la chupacabra?
4/27/2005 6:33:16 AM EDT
[#2]
they said EL on the show.
And a quick google search shows more use of  EL.

Eitherway its f**king scary! And I won't be going outside at night dressed like a farm animal anymore.

Nope. "El" is correct in this case.

Yeah, some masculine words still end in "a" in spanish.  Stupid language is annoying to learn.

El chupacabra is a hoax..... same as Big Foot, Loch Ness Monster, Aliens, Yeti, etc, etc, etc.....

Make sure you where your tinfoil underwear and you will be just fine.

Guys, it's like a pet for aliens.  Like if you were on an RV trip and the dog got out and took off terrorizing chickens and stuff.  Same thing.  The aliens keep them for pets and sometimes they get out of the flying saucer and take off.
They're often detected in conjunction with recent UFO sightings.
The aliens catch them after a bit, scold them and try to keep them on a leash or within an electro-containment field next time they make a stop.

Not necessarily - so spanish nouns may appear to have a feminine suffix but they are actually masculine - el agua, un dia, etc.

In this case, it's because "la cabra" (the animal being sucked, which IS feminine in gender) isn't the animal in question. This is the CHUPA-cabra, or "Goat-sucker".

Hence, it is "el".

BTW, if you think learning Spanish is difficult, try learning English when it's not your native tongue. Spanish makes infinitely more sense.

If the Loch Ness monster is real, what of it? Is it going to haul itself out of the Loch, and slither & flop its way into your house and up your stairs and wait in the closet to leap out and chomp on you when you turn out the light at bedtime? I don't think so. But that is just the sort of thing a Chupacabra would do, and that is reason enough to put deadbolts on every door in the house. Inside or out.

yea, PLesiosaur , or something small. I dont know it just seems so big that lake and they are still finding new species in it. I think they said you can fit the whole population of the world in it? atleast 1 time.  If nothings there I just think it doesnt make sense that there are so many sightings

Dude, I had one cornered in my den one time.  It was a crazy situation...I wish I had my camera.
It was inside looking for food or something.  I showed up at the wrong time.  Needless to say, we both got quite a surprise out of that encounter.

So, do you think that there are really Aliens and UFO's?  There are so many sightings of those as well.

I think it is very hard to believe that it is a DINOSAUR.

exactly how many people have lost their lives to this "creature"?
put dead bolts on every door, but do it to keep out both criminals and people
that should know better than to believe everything they hear about on the internet.

yes, but aligators and sharks were still alive when the dinosaurs were. some other animals too and they are still here today. So it is possible other ones could have survived.

I think that what they have on the Loch Ness Monster is just what they have on ghosts and spritis and such.  I think it's just a bunch of sightings where their minds play tricks on them...
