NEED a link to a good jeep site, Looking to buy within a year and would like to find out issues before they are a suprise. you Know, like my Dakota had some tranny issues, and all the mechanics said they all throw trannys, neons have trouble keeping head gaskets, Chevys are notorious for loosing clear coat, fords, well.... electronic problems..
I understand most autos have some sort of issues(cept maybee Toyota

)just want to be informed The way I understand it the 4.0 is pretty well built but I dont know much on anny thing else.

The only problems with Jeeps are that they rust very easily.

As I understand it, they have been hot galvanizing Jeep bodies, at least the Wrangler style for the last couple years. That should seriously reduce any corrosion problems.

Dakota Transmission = Jeep Transmission

Change your transmission fluid every 12,000 miles and You'll be fine .
