Congrats on winning the raffle!

IMO, that's a lot of...uh...stuff for a HD shotgun.

Yeah, but it looks all tactical and shit.  And in the end, isn't that what truly matters?

Did 10/22 Sniper "help", you, build "THAT" shotgun ...., "WHERE's", the HOLOsight?

A light, a red dot and a collapsing stock.

Yeah, wow...that's just crazy.

Too much is never enuf.

Its your gun - do what you want with it.

What did it start off looking like?

I personally always like to see "hunting" weapons turned "evil"....so long as it's not a historic item (like a 60 y/o Mauser or some such).  Pisses off the hunting only crowd.    Kindof like taking a semi shotty to a skeet club.

I would go with a reflex scope over a red dot any day, but other then that, cool beans

I took my Mossy bullpup to trap night once.  No one got the joke.......

That "tactical" AR folding stock might look cool, but I wouldn't want to shoot any slugs or heavy recoil shells with it installed.

Nice setup.

I'm planning to do an 870 Special Purpose like that but with a holosight.  Make a nice "space gun" companion to my 590A1.

As others have stated, it's your weapon, do what you wish.  And enjoy it.

But when you are talking about an HD SG, you have a firearm that shoots a cone of 9mm sized pellets.   Precise accuracy isn't really necessary.

(assuming you're loaded with 00-Buck)

Yeah I'm concerned about the recoil.  I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet

You need a sidesaddle, magazine extension, and better glass.

Don't sweat the recoil, friend.  I know 4th graders who can handle 12 gauge SGs.

Just enjoy your free weapon.

You're right.
That was my point.  I was trying to be sarcastic but I guess it didn't come across like that.
I couldn't believe people were calling him on the accessories (the first response for example).
A light to see who you're pointing at and to inspect the house
A red dot to get it on target pronto
A collapsible stock to make it handy for maneuvering

It's set up fine.

It is if your shooting at home defense distances.  Try patterning at 10-15' and see how tight the groups are.

Don't worry. Be happy.

I do it all the time. I've got a perpetual bruise on my shoulder

There is a "pad" you can get for the collapsible stock. I doesn't provide much recoil buffer but at least it helps in not breaking the skin.

Darn nice conversion too!

Send a picture in the new config back to Ducks Unlimited (hey, another DU to go along with Depleted Uranium and something else I'm forgetting at the moment) and say "thanks for the shotgun"

People think that the pattern on a shotty opens up almost immediately.

Wrong assumption.

No problem, it's totally great the way you have it.
My AR has an EOTech, a light and a collapsible stock for the same reasons.  It is set up for uninvited visitors in the middle of the night.

If I set up a shotgun I would do it similar to yours.

You could go crazy and install the magazine/drum feed adaptor if you wanted to spend some $$.  I have no idea how reliable they are but it'd be fun to experiment with.

OK, they're just fine.  What point are you trying to make?  Are you backing up what I've already stated?
