So I call them tonight, because, since last Wednesday my service has been disconnecting constantly. 2 hour outage here... 15 minute outage there and constant sporadic disconnections, I’d say 10-20 an hour. Every time I've called their Tech Supports (7-9 times) I got a generic message from the their phone system that "they are experiencing outage in my area and that call volume was to high and to call back later" and it disconnects me. I'll be lucky if I can post this... So I call again tonight because my service goes out for 20 seconds about every 3 minutes... same old thing. So I say, fuck this, I'm calling billing and I'm getting some of my money back. Well I call billing and yeah... it takes about 2 fucking seconds to get someone on the phone there, they are happy as fuck to take your money but won't give you service. So I explain that I'm upset because for the last week my service has been horrible and I'm looking to get some kind of pro-rated discount... listen to what this fucking whore had the balls to say to me... "Sir, we have no indication of you calling over the last few days..." That's about all she got out because I fucking exploded!!!! anyway... this month is FREE!!!!!! |

I worked at a college's IT department and we had 4 comcast T1s and they cant even keep their BUSINESS customers online! Our T1s would go offline for seconds to minutes to hours for no reason! Other times their network would "unpeer" from the rest of the internet meaning we could connect to comcast cable users and anywhere on the comcast network but not reach the rest of the internet. We have been disconnected because some yuppies felt the need to play with the fiber in their office. They are NEWBIES in the broadband world and they make no attempt to hide it nor correct their problems. We have since ditched comcast and moved to sprint. The only reason we went to comcast was better pricing. well, you get what you pay for. -foxxz |
THANK YOU!!! AND HOLY SHIT!!! IT'S NEVER RUN SO SMOOTH, fucking strange, I always had it set to pick it up auto. |
Its only on record it the tech documents it. The tech can pull up a modem history and they can comp you the time it was down. |
Their nodes are jam packed and are reluctant to set up more. Their increased bandwith upgrade was premature. They also have too may customers. They bought almost everyone. |
Good luck, I got em too and they have been a problem for awhile now. But no one else has cable or DSL in sac . Cept for SBC. And they laid lines four years ago, less than a block away. Still no service for our area. Sucks!! Every friggin 15-30 mins we are out.

Where exactly are you? |
I didn't know the rules for links so I played it safe. |

Is it happening right around 9pm EST? I have been having a fit over this as well, around 9pm in MI it starts bugging out....on, off until about 11pm.....Truly frustrating!!! I know it's a DNS issue, but trying to tell them that is impossible!! Tag for the DNS entries for later! |
