Okay, for all you guys who have already played doom3, I need some help. I'm in Hell and I am fighting this MASSIVE demon. He has these little helpers called Seekers that fly around and rat me out whrever I hide. Well, if i shoot them, he's blind for a moment and I am suppossed to be able to hurt him when this happens...... Well, I have been bustin' caps on him for a couple of hours now and though he is a bit worse for wear I can't seem to kill him. Any hints???? P.S. I think it is totally bogus that they don't pass out complimentary flashlights in Hell......cheapskates! |

He is only vulnerable when you knock out his seekers "eyes" and yes use the barriers to hide when he strikes. Just keep running around. BFG's are the best, but I've beat him with rockets and other weapons but it's much slower. You don't get the soul cube until afterwards. Look for Doom 3 mods on Gamespy. There are a couple that add a permanent light to most of the long guns. It takes away the fear factor but you can beat it much faster when you can actually see where you are going. |
| Kill the seekers first and then shoot the blue orb above the guardian to kill it. If it creates more seekers before you kill it, repeat the process. Use the plasma gun on the seekers and the BFG, rocket launcher or plasma gun to shoot the blue orb. Grab the soul cube after you win that battle. |
AHAAAA!!! That's why I have been doing such limited damage!! I have been killing the seekers and then shooting HIM not the orb. Every now and then I miss and have hit the orb, hence he is a bit tattered.........okay....here we go again.....I'll let y'all know how I do. |
