So what is the final verdict on a DVD from Canada? Will it play on our US machines. I have a co-worker going to Canada this week and he will pick me up a copy of Bravo Two Zero on DVD or VHS (DVD if it will work) if someone can verify they will function on our machines. Thanks for the info ASO544 |

If the DVD is coded "Region 1" (which is the region that Canada is in, and that DVDs able to play in Canada are coded) then yes, you can play it in your Region 1, USA DVD player. If they're just getting it from Canada, but it is encoded in Region 2, then you'll need a region-free DVD player, or a DVD player capable of switching regions.
