Will Thermold mags work well in a Armalite? Bushmaster says their guarenteed to work, their brand new. I heard that sometimes in a tight gun they might not. Bullshit or for real that is the question Mr.Watson. Thank you ahead of time people for any comments.

I've used them in four different DPMS lowers (2 cast, 2 forged), 3 Colt lowers and a Bushmaster lower, all without any problems.

Canadian military uses thermold, but the soldiers call them thermelts... wonder why.

Becuz theirs are made of a cheap plastic, unlike our Wilson D&D Thermolds. Canadian military mags can melt under sustained FA fire.

As far as American Therms go, I like them better than USGI. Much tougher, quieter, and self-lubing.

I have thermold 20s & 30s, they work in all my weapons except, in my Armalite M15 they feed but will not hold the bolt open. Armalite says its because there rifles are tighter but I dont have the problem in Colt or BM.

"Wilson" Thermolds work well in all of my Colt and Bushmaster AR's.  I also have several Mini- 14 Thermolds that work well after a short break in period. My only bad experience has been with an M1A Thermold which I never could get to work reliably.
