With this being my former platform, my heart drops when I hear such a thing. Did I/ Do I know them etc. Fox news just reported that four bodies have been recovered already.. I think the USAF has 9 crew members on their Talons... Prayers go out. U.S. C-130 Crashes East of Tirana, Albania Apr. 1, 2005 STUTTGART-VAIHINGEN, Germany -- U.S. European command has received a report that a U.S. C-130 aircraft, based out of RAF Mildenhall in the United Kingdom has crashed east of Tirana, Albania. There were nine people reportedly on board. The aircraft was on a joint training mission with the Albanian military. The downed aircraft is located in a very remote area, in mountainous terrain, and search crews are making their way to the site. The status of the aircraft occupants is unknown at this time. |
