WOW did fucking turn off the cable for 1 missed payment. Bastards. I made a call, paid by CC and the damn thing was back on instantly. Not like the old days when they had to send a dude out to cut you off. Or a box that would work all the time on all the channels. Too much control now. |

I actually just watched it with my kids. My 11 year old has the books and most of the seasons on DVD which she seems to always have on. I never much liked the later shows, but by then I was in the Army and AFN did not show it overseas! The new one wasn't too bad for a Disney production. Mr. Edwards with his Henry, I think, and Pa with his shotgun and Colt Navy. Funny, I always wanted to know why Pa sat out the Civil War. Even Edwards says he's from Tenn. |
