I am getting into darts and need help picking out what kind, weight, and all that. I really don’t know too much about any of it. Probably would like to get tungsten, weight I have no idea, soft tips. What do I need to look for, and if anyone knows were I could find gun related flights that would be great, thanks all.

weigts etc are entirely individual preference. I would say look for a dart league in your area, find  a dart bar and go spend a few nights shooting the leagues and bars stuff to see what you like personally before buying your own stuff.

There are several brands of darts that have three different weights to customize your darts. Bobcat is the one that comes to mind. They run between $30.00 -$40.00 a set.  maxx

+1 on trying before you buy.  Allthough get yer terminology straight.  You mentioned Tungsten which would lead to a steel tipped dart.  If you're playing the electronic dartboards, all I have seen in the way of soft tip darts are the brass ferrules.  Being a beginner player I will suggest finding your weight preferance, then picking up "hammerhead" darts if you plan on playing on a cork or horse hair board.  Hammerhead's have a floating tip that when you throw it and the tip contacts the board, the shaft will move forward and drive the tip in deeper and give you less darts that fall out.

most of the guys arounf here do use Tungsten for there soft tip. said they hold up longer and the knerning last alot longer. also easyer to "feel" the dart for guys with rougher hands. postly woundering on brands and weight prefrence. and i cant seem to find and firearm related flights. have googled it to death.
