Did he ever actually sing a song or did he just talk his way through them.   Someone asked me that today and I did not know the answer.  ARFCOM Hive Mind - ENGAGED!

Me and Julio down by the school yard's chorus is sung.  I can't think of anythign else that's actually sung.

Remember the Alamo, and God Bless Texas...

He can't sing. Therefore he talks.

Geez, how anyone could listen to that guy is beyond me.

Graceland is one of the best albums ever, with "The Boy In The Bubble" and "Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes" being the best in the album.

Graceland?
Paul Simon sucks ass.
Big headed ego monster.

He looked good in that turkey suit on SNL.

By and large, I would qualify it as singing. i.e. the words come out at different notes. I had a scan through my collection, I guess one of the more 'singy' ones is All Around The World, but all of them can qualify I think. Scarborough Fair should count as well, methinks.

I said the album. I have no idea what he's worth as an individual, nor do I care. I enjoy the music and that of Simon and Garfunkel.

Bridge over troubled waters is sung. Most of his stuff is sung. The goddamn guy has been putting out records since 1963. Sheesh...

He sure as hell sang when he and Garfunkel were together. You're either living in a cave or too young.

We saw S&G last summer at the Toyota Center, and Paul actually sang 3-4 songs while Art took a little break.

Great, great concert.

FYI the cover of "America" by Yes is about 100 million times better than Paul Simon's original.

MB, I would remind you of something Mark Twain once said:  "It's better to remain silent and appear a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt."
