My dad bought a Kimber Classic Custom a few months ago, and it ran like a Swiss watch 90% of the time (bad ammo will jam any gun). That is, until the target-style rear sight blade seperated from the rear sight base while firing, which is probably not supposed to happen. What, if any, reparations can he expect from Kimber?

I know a few people, myself included, thathave had the blade on the target sight break.

I don't know that anyone of us dealt with Kimber on a replacement.

I had a set of Ashley Express sights that I put on instead another guy went with Bomars.

Call Kimber up and ask them for a replacement sight and see if they go for it.

the best you can expect from them is they tell you to send it in and they pay for the shipping costs and replacement of the sight.

Call them up and ask about it. If they're going to charge you stuff, you may as well go out and get a nicer set of sights..... like real Bo-Mars, or Heinies.

I was considering swapping out the sights, but since this happened due to no fault of my own, I thought they should be responsible for replacing it. The problem is, the 1-year warranty has expired. Anyone have prior experience dealing with Kimber, will they still replace the faulty part?
