Claim Jumper!... who has one of these by their house? For those of you that do not, you dont know what you are missing... These are restaurants based on the old west and the portions are not huge... they are HUGE!!!! Prime Rib? you get 1/2 the cow. Appetizer combo is the size of the table. Good food. We went yesterday and I am snacking on the take home.... Mmmmmm [homersimpson]Cashew Chicken sandwich.....ahhhhhhhhh[/homersimpson] |

Took my gf there for our first date. I polished off the whole hamburger plate and even at the apple. She always says i tricked her that night into thinking i was gonna eat like that forever. (girls like it when you eat alot more then them, doesnt make em feel fat) Their potatoes are the size of a football! |

They are good pretty good, but they don't seem to be as big on the portions as they used to be. First time I went there and ordered country fried steak, they gave me two HUGE steaks. Last few times I've been there and ordered it though, they gave me only one huge one. |

I've been to the Claim Jumper in Valencia, Ca., and in Tukwila, Wa. You need to show up at the Tukwila restaraunt no later than 5:30 or expect a 1.5 to 2 hour wait. The California salad in Tukwila was served in a bowl as big as one for mixing a cake or bread dough. Strangely, the Valencia restaurant didn't serve a California salad. I asked the waitress about that, but that leads to another story. The chocolate cake desert for one is too big for four people to eat. They are great, but I like Chart House more. |
