TV is stupid.

Oh....wait....I guess when I was a kid I liked Jackie Gleason in the Honeymooners....great show, great cast...humour without sexual inuendo, racist jokes, or otherwise blue humor.....blue collar humor..yes...but tasteful.

As an adult I have no use for TV.

The creme of the crop IMHO:

John Ritter as Jack Tripper (Three's Company)

Carroll O' Connor as Archie Bunker (All in the Family)

Don Knotts as Barney Fife (Andy Griffith) and Mr. Furley (Three's Company)

I also feel this was the golden age of sitcoms. Nothing today even compares to these oldies.

+1 on the golden age.  Stand up comedians now can't tell a joke without invoking the 7 words 7 times each in 1 sentence.

The older shows were a lot better. They had to be, the writers needed to actually think about what they wrote. They couldn't just throw a big titted bimbo out there and get the sex jokes they whip out on a mill like they do now.

Most sitcoms are just so stupid it's not even funny.

It seems in the dumbing down of today's tv, the new sitcoms are either written by or for the braindead....or possibly both. LOL.

It is quite humorous at how many people can't read and understand the topic at hand.

Why do people feel the need to interject their hatred of things at every possible occasion?

Though I don't like the man, I think Kelsey Grammer's record speaks for itself.

My favorite would be Ed O'Niel
