I sniped a few waxed turnips with my 8mm mauser (soft points) and boy what a nice explosion they made.

What types of stuff (besides paper targets) do you enjoy shooting at ?

I had a watermelon explode once, just sitting in the house

make friends with the produce manager at the local supermarket, they can sell you canteloupes and watermelons that cant be sold normally for dirt cheap

My wife got a helluva deal on pumpkins last Halloween. She bought 4 HUGE pumpkins for $6. They don't really explode unless you stuff them full of tannerite, but fun to shoot anyways.
