As in BS... ..personally? I could care less. I don't plan on breaking the law anyway. If I want FA I'll go through the proper legal channels. In the mean time I'll be trying to change the law so the legal channels aren't as hard to go through. |

If a FFL started talking to me about knowing how to put in M16 parts and shit, I'd basically tell him that IF I could afford a DIAS and the associated tax, and had it transferred to me, then I'd talk to him about M16 parts. What ever-just thought I'd share my experience, nothing gained or lost. I don't need to be schooled about ATF law, I can get it from the same ATF website as you. If everyone is so damn smart, why are the courts loaded with these entrapment cases? Mabe I just need to be donating member, and have over 1000 post not to be called a liar! Just wondering, but has the BATF contacted you about the lowers their "agent" has sold you? I was unaware that BATF employees could hold a type 1 commerical FFL. |

Tell him that you want the parts and will bring your rifle to a third party location so he can show you how to put them in. Set up an appointment. Then call the State Police and tell them that a guy is planning an illegal machine gun sale, and you know where it is!

I was in a gun shop one time and a guy there started talking to me about full auto conversions. I simply said, "well if someone wants to then its not that hard if they do their research, but I will not be doing it because I dont want to go to jail." It never hit me that he might be ATF or the like, but I have no worries anyhow. |

What difference does that make? Are you saying he's posing as an FFL to catch people breaking the law or are you saying he's an ATF that just happens to do FFLs on the side? Either way I don't see how it could be legal. |
