2 hours of skiing out in the woods.   Still trying to find a location to
CCW  while skiing, and not have a gun soaked with snow or sweat
when I wrap up.

Just some advice; it's worth what you paid for it.. Run 3 miles+ at a time. Do pushups, situps (the way the USMC does) and pullups(again the way the USMC does). You should be able to get on the internet and find their PFA standards. If you get really good run in boots.

I work out in the evenings. I'll probably do some lifting tonight and run on the treadmill for a while.

Participated in a mountain rescue field training exercise today.  Medium angle, non-responsive, spine injury, a mile and a half in.  Hail, wind, and rain.  Lots of fun.

I ate a donut and read this thread. That's enough of a workout for the day.

Oh wait! I'm feeling pumped! I think I'll go get another donut.

I do a regimen that we call "burnouts" its takes 2 other ppl though and a lot of small weights. You start with the bar (45 lbs) and 45 lbs on each side of the bar. 1 10lb plate on the outsides and the rest 5 lb plates. You do 10 reps of the 135 lb's then while still holding the bar up from your last rep, the 2 guys strip the 10's off and you do 5 reps. Then while still holding the bar up from the last rep, the 2 guys strip off 5's. You repeat this process, do 5 reps, reduce weight, do 5 reps, until you get to only the bar and you do reps with the bar only until you can't do anymore. Do this on high incline first, then medium, then flat. Not great for building mass, but builds a lot of endurance and makes your muscles extremely solid.
