I start my spring semester tomorrow. I was really starting to enjoy sitting on my a*$ during winter break. My first class is being taught by a prof. who is known for pushing her political views in class. I had to take the class though. Well, I'm done whinning now, carry on.

Just make it known during her lectures that you are paying for an education and not her opinion, so you'd like the lecture tempered with facts not conjecture.  (It didn't work for me, but maybe it will for someone!)

If the class is not related to politics, it is highly inappropriate behavior for a professor.

If the class really us unrelated to politics, complain to the dean of your school - and say that it makes you "uncomfortable" but that you are afraid of speaking up in class or challenging her (out of fear of retaliation in your grading).

It is an oral communications class. Not a sociology, law, or political science class. So, I would say her views are pretty irrelevant in class.

In that case it is highly inappropriate, and I think it should be challenged - either in class (if you're feeling lucky ), or though the Dean or associate Dean.

Good luck

Yeah me too  Actually looking forward to it I am taking 3 CJA classes so that should keep me interested.

But still it was fun working fulltime and making a bunch of cash, plus drilling during the day and working nights this weekend.... Bringing home some cash!
