I did four different searches and didn't see a dupe on this so here it is:

Funny stuff.

I've suspected some of this has been going on.

It wasn't as comprehensive as I thought it would be.

Wonder which role I will fill when I take my AR to the fun show this upcoming weekend, in search of a 30% below wholesale Aimpoint.

I know it won't look quite as evil with the wire ties securing the trigger and bolt, but I've still got my "Starship Troopers-Space Balls" ARMS #51 SIR and Knights VFG on there just to balance it's evilness out. Just in case there is a lack of evil, I have added the bolt-on bayonet lug since it is a 16" barrel, and I don't want a goofy-looking extended handle M7 bayonet.

I will be eyeing up the 25%-0% finish remaing magazines, for both my AR and my 1911, as well as the bagged reload ammo.

I'm just not sure if I should hook up my GI sling as a two point setup, or go ueber-tactical and use my single point setup.

Those people sound more interesting than what I have seen.

KEVIN: He is 13, and this is his first gun show. His eyes are bugged out with amazement, and he wonders what his J.C. Higgins single-shot 20-gauge is worth. His father gives him an advance on his allowance so he can buy a used Remington Nylon 66. He's hooked for life and will end up on the NRA's Board of Directors.

We should make our own field guide to gun shows and include a part about not assaulting cigar-smoking Glock owners, as they tend to go Darth Vader on your ass.

It'd be funnier if it weren't so pathetically true...

Went to a gun show and looked at a BAR in .300 Win mag. Dealer starts telling how great the gun shoots. He carried it for several years his own personal elk hunting rifle. Only reason he is selling it is he just got a new BAR from Belgium, european model not for sale in the US. He had to have it specialy imported.

After several minutes of this, the dealers buddy walks up sees the rifle and asks "That the BAR you traded for last week?"

If looks could have killed....It was worth the price of admission just to see this act.

DAWN: She is here with her boyfriend, DARRYL. At the last show, DARRYL bought her a Taurus Model 66 in .357 Magnum. She fired it twice and is afraid of it, but at DARRYL'S insistence she keeps it in a box on the top shelf of her clothes closet in case someone breaks in. She is dressed in a pair of blue jeans that came out of a spray can, a "Soldier of Fortune" T-shirt two sizes too small, and 4" high heels. DARRYL is ignoring her, but nobody else is

I rarely see her, but boy its fun when she's there!

You need to get a table, all the Dawns almost make it worth the table fee..

I like this one best.  Laughed pretty hard considering there's always so many people selling the most worthless shit one can imagine.

ALAN: He's not a dealer, but he had a bunch of odds and ends to dispose of, so he bought a table. On it he displays used loading dies in 7.65 Belgian and .25-20, both in boxes from the original Herter's company. He also has a half-box of .38-55 cartridges, a Western-style gun belt he hasn't been able to wear since 1978, a used cleaning kit, and a nickel-plated Iver Johnson Premier revolver in .32 S&W. He's asking $125 for the gun and $40 for each of the die sets. He paid $35 for the table and figures he needs to get at least that much to cover his expenses and the value of his time.

You're not kidding.  I've too often seen dealers trying to sell wares that have absolutely zero value to the contemporary gun community.
