Stop picking your nose in search of a good snack!!!! If there is no rhyme or reason behind your nosebleeds, go get yourself checked out. May be a sign of something .... well not so good. Another member on this board has a kid that had the same problem. All is OK now but... just do it will ya? |

You should use a saline rinse twice a day. There is one called Ocean Spray that I use. You might also try to find out what the root cause is for your nose being dry and bleeding. You might have allergies. See an allergist to find out. They can test you same day. Some allergies can be treated with allergy shots administered weekly at your doctor's office. The shots are essentially what you are allergic to. The point is to build up immunity to what you are allergic to. Properly done it will take two years of allergy shots. They don't hurt. It really does make a difference for some people. IMHO and YMMV of course. |
| Take your index and middle fingers and press straight inward just under your nostrils. After the bleeding subsides, what I do is use a Q tip to slather on some Neosporin on the inside of my nostrils. This cleans them up, moisturizes them, and prevents infection. It seems to work for me when the humidity is low. |

sadly I dont have an interesting enough life to say I pick my nose(?) but the humidifier is a good idea. I have just been sitting here for a while with a giant wad of tissues pressed up on it and it seems to be working until I move the tissues.... ... then its the niagara of plasma |
Roll them up and use them to block it, or use cotton, its better. Just forget about it for 30mins to an hour after you set it there, should be stopped by them. Dont forget to bleed all over your ninja gear so you can look like a real ninja who uses his gear. |

I've had three nose bleeds in my life. #1) Broken nose from bicycle crash.  #2) Broken nose from fist fight. (I lost). #3) Broken nose a car crash. Totaled a 1966 Mustang 2X2. Do you see a trend here with me. Broken nose = bleeding. I don't get nose bleeds. I live in a humid state.  Good luck. Colt_SBR |

Strange I have said the same thing before too, the nosebleeds I blame on damn pollen and stuff though. |
