From data taken at 2004 national election exit polls, reported by Dr.
Kenneth Shirrell, Professor and Chair, Department of Political Science, Hunter College, City University of New York, and distributed by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force policy institute.

----------------

Do you or does someone in your home own a gun?

Lesbian/Gay/Bisexuals:

Yes 46
No 54

All other voters:

Yes 42
No 58

I hadn't heard of this before, but I hope these numbers are right. What surprised me the most though was that NGLTF would even admit that any LGBT would even think of owning a firearm. Maybe the Pink Pistol message isn't falling on deaf ears after all. But we need to get those numbers up, maybe the new board will help.

I think it is HILLARIOUS that we % wise of course) are more likely to own guns than the str8s :)

Of course that's gay/lesbian/bi VOTERS verses str8 VOTERS.... I'd like to see a straight up (no pun intended) scientific poll :)
