For quite sometime he was a Provocateur that often said things that your first reaction was to get really pissed, but then you realized there was a nugget of truth or insight surrounded by the troll-like bullshit. Many of his posts were like that but as time went on they began to go downhill. Soon most of what he was posting was just run of the mill trollshit, no substance, just trying to get a rise out of people. IIRC he was banned once and allowed to come back but things just got worse after that. He spent some time over at pre-ban.com spreading the same horseshit he did here. I don't recall seeing anything from him there in the past few months so I don't know what rock he's crawled under. |

 That kid surely was pompous for one so young......I ran into him on CU about 2 years ago....he got all pissed off when I mentioned his history on Arfcom (he was the latest "Post in every thread, trool du jour" on CU at the time)..What really cracked me up was we were gabbing about the Reagan years, he offered an "observation"  and I asked him what he thought about something Reagan did...His response was "That was before I actively followed politics..."  I replied with "C'mon BOG, be truthful: Shouldn't you have said something like "That was back when I was in kindergarten.." ?????  He never did answer me about when I could buy one of his paintballing robots...

While I see why you might say that, remember he had a lot of friends and a relative or two go up in the WTC on 9/11/01. His deep remorse and inchoate, resentful anger about it affected his postings here. He could not get rational about the ROP® in any kind of discussion here. His comments about its adherents led to him being banned from ARFCOM, but only after many repeated warnings. Nobody wanted him to go, exc. him, since he knew better. Ed Sr. or GB felt they had no other choice.  Wherever you are today, Ballser, I wish you peace.

It'd be more like a fifth or tenth chance..he came back under various nom d'modemmes and eventually got too loud and got banned again... Not exactly sure what set him "off", he could have been a thought-provoker, but turned too far to the Troll Side of the Force....<shrug> |

I was lurking this board for a while when I came across the entire SF_Chris debacle in the Bear Pit. Man that was some quality readin!  Glad that little bitch got discovered though
