it took me nearly two and a half years to get to 4k. The posts were all quality but I must admit the last 20 or 30 were hit and run It'll be like year 2007 before I get to 8,000 posts at this rate

Gaspain, it starts out like that. Good, high quality posts. As you learn to type and get a faster internet connection it goes steadily downhill.
