Colt 6721 A3 Tacticle Carbine

Cost $1200

Round count on the this rifle is reported to be under 1000 possibly as low as 800.  Condition is looks great just the normal touch point stuff .  Thanks for your help.

Depends on date of manufacture and SN.

Cope,
Please tell me why date of manufacture and serial number matters on the price.   I guess I can see if you needed verified pre-ban status that might matter but I can't hink of any other reason.  Please teach.

Preban status is still important on this particular rifle.  I would give $1200 for a verifiable preban 6721, but not a post ban leo marked sample.

I bought a non leo marked 6721 about a month prior to the ban sunsetting for $1025.  It was in practically new condition, and free of the LEO markings.   In addition, I bought a NIB non leo marked 6450 for $995 prior to the ban sunset.  Had my local transfer dealer sit on them till the sunset.

All I am really saying about the dates or SN is that, IMO, $1200 is too much money for a LEO marked sample with 800 rounds through it.  If it is an unmarked preban gun, then $1200 would be a good deal IMO.

Many people subscribe to the idea that LEO marked weapons will be worth a premium one day.   You need to ask yourself if you fall into this category.  Personally, I have no desire to own anything marked LEO.  Too much potential for some ignorant local cop to get wound up over a mere civilian being in possession of an leo marked weapon.

Cope,
Thanks for your input.  I have no idea if it is a "pre-94"  or not.  I just know that it is sexy and I think that I like it.  So who knows.  It's only money right?

Try This

If ya want one, go for it.  I have been known to pay too much for something that I really want, so don't feel like the Lone Ranger.
