Well Im currently with Progressive and dont like them. The only other insurance that is close in price is Geico. I know they are both kinda teh suck, but which is better/worse? |
|
Sir, your wife is sleeping with the dog, your best friend just got busted for prostitution in the Bay area, and your mom was caught fighting as a mercenary in Africa...but I have some good news...I just saved a ton of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico. |
|
Had to deal with Progressive one time. A woman that backed into my truck had insurance with them and it took forever to get them to pay off. I had to go there every day after work to talk to one of their "representitives" to get anywhere. Finally had to drudge up the dreaded "lawyer" word to make any head way. I use AllState. Good rates. |
Allstate would cost me $800+ a year extra. Progressive did some shitty repair work for me before and claimed all kinds of stuff wasnt damaged. Southen General took 4 months to pay off here. |
|
Look into American Express Casualty Nobody has ever beat their rates as far as I have seen. |
And this is spoken by a guy who knows his car insurance. |
Will call after work tomorrow. Most the places I called were higher except those 2. |
|
I have Geico. I reported some hail damage online. A few days later I got a call. A few days after that an adjuster came to my house. Within a week after that I got a check. Their estimate was about $25 less than the autobody estimate. They said they'd take care of it. I can't complain |
| i had progressive a couple years ago and got into an accident. it was a brand new car, about a month old, and they not only paid everything but with the retail of the car what it was i pocketed some. they were prompt and it took less than a week to get everything straightened up. now i got geico cuz they were cheaper with the military discount i had. now that im out and my newest accident got put on it, it raised it like 600 bucks...what a jip. both accidents not my fault but still went on my insurance even though i complained they wouldnt change it. either way $1800 for 6 months is the cheapest i have found. |
![]() Had my first accident two weeks ago. Parked a 1 ton 4x4 flatbed in the backseat of a BMW 540i - Not pretty, not cheap, not my insurance Flatbed... $3500 Damage BMW... Totalled, somewhere between $22 and $70k (They are still arguing) |
+1 AAA - $2400/yr GEICO - $1600/yr AE - $1320/yr |
I pay close to what he pays. |
