Ya'll ready to top off the list?

What list? THIS LIST!

Put your left foot in, ya put your left foot out. You put your left foot in and ya shake it all about...

No I am not going to the game, the best ticket deal that I could get was 1,500 for two tickets and 3 nights.  I bought tickets to Maryland,  WVU and UVA and that had me in the hole as well.

My scoring prediction

VT 30
AU  9 (I am being generous)

That is the Hokie Bird.  Our official mascot is the Fighting Gobbler, but over the years it turned into the Hokie  Bird (Hokie being a made up word that was needed to make our fight song ryme)

I bet you all won't even come close to seeing the endzone.  Our "D" will absolutely dominate, that is why you will only score 3 field goals.

Fighting Gobblers, eh?

Man there will be so many turkeys scrambling y'all will think is is Thanksgiving all over again!

Your D best hope we are not on our offensive A game cause if we are... Well, let's just say there will be some confusion among the ranks to put it mildly.

Keep in mind that we had USC on the ropes as well but a bad call turned the momentum of the game.
We also stuffed Miami's offense.

You have heard that tigers are an endangered animal right?

Believe me, there are a bunch of Auburn fans who wished VT or SOMEONE would have beat USC or that we would have had a chance to bring a SEC whoopin' to them.

I guess y'all will be a consolation prize!

Y'all did look good against Miami and no one considers VT a pushover that's for sure. Gonna be a good win for us!

I seriously doubt that.  But it will be a good game, lots of blocked Auburn punts, sacks and interecptions followed by a punishing ground attack with Imoh and Humes

WAR EAGLE!!!

They were the sister school of my school (St Joe's) in Philly because we were too lame to field a football team.  We used to drive all the way to Auburn to root for them.  I have no clue how we picked a school down there.

My turn to ask a question.  What the hell is a War Damn Eage?

Also between y'all and 'bama, which one of those two schools is considered the "elite" snoby one that is plaqued with liberals?

The reason for your team not playing SC or OU is very simple:

LA-Monroe
The Citadel
LA Tech

WADR to you, your team and those other fine schools of higher learning, if you guys are going to lard up your sked with "turkeys", easy doormats that give you essentially a "bye" week, while other teams like OU and SC are playing traditional powerhouses, (Even if some were admittedly off their game and turkeys this year!), then The War Eagle doesn't deserve to be in the Big Show.

Shitcan the chumps and fill those holes with REAL powerhouses and you will always be at or near the top.  Risky...?  Absolutely.  BUT...if you can whup them...you are THE MAN!

As far as us and UA, well let's just say that AU is comprised of really good people. UA is a bit more uppity and has to be put in it's place on a yearly basis. There are NO liberal schools in Alabama!

Regarding "War Eagle" it is in our fight song and it is our "battle cry."

It is about as goofy as making up a bird name!

The origins are uncertain...

Waaaaar Eagle! is the cry that is heard from the crowd in Jordan-Hare Stadium, alumni gatherings or as Auburn students greet each other. It is a symbol of the Auburn spirit and continues to bind Auburn men and women of all ages. Although several stories of Auburn's battle cry have been passed down through the years, the true origin is anyone's guess.
The most popular story dates back to the first time Auburn met Georgia on the football field in 1892 and centers around a spectator who was a veteran of the Civil War.

In the stands with him that day was an eagle the old soldier had found on a battlefield during the war. He had kept it as a pet for almost 30 years. According to witnesses, the eagle suddenly broke free and began majestically circling the playing field. As the eagle soared, Auburn began a steady march to-ward the Georgia end zone for a thrilling victory. Elated at their team's play and taking the bird's presence as an omen of success, Auburn students and fans began to yell "War Eagle" to spur on their team. At the game's end, the eagle took a sudden dive, crashed into the ground, and died. But the battle cry "War Eagle" lived on to become a symbol of the proud Auburn spirit.

The 1914 contest with the Carlisle Indians provides another story. The toughest player on the Indians' team was a tackle named Bald Eagle. Trying to tire the big man, Auburn began to run play after play at his position. Without even huddling, the Auburn quarterback would yell "Bald Eagle," letting the rest of the team know that the play would be run at the imposing defensive man. Spectators, however, thought the quarterback was saying "War Eagle," and in unison, they began to chant the resounding cry.

There is another story surrounding the 1914 Carlisle game. Each time the Indians had scored during the season, fans and the Carlisle players yelled, "War Eagle." But on this particular afternoon, it was Auburn's own Lucy Hairston who adopted the battle cry as he danced across the goal line for the only touchdown of the game.

Another version of the War Eagle story comes from Indian lore. Legend says "War Eagle" was the name given the large golden eagle by the Plains Indians because the eagle fur-nished feathers for use in their war bonnets. The rarest version of the origin of the "War Eagle" cry grew from a 1913 pep rally at Langdon Hall where students had gathered the day before the Georgia football game. Cheerleader Gus Graydon told the crowd, "If we are going to win this game, we'll have to get out there and fight, because this means war." During the frenzy, another student, E. T.

Enslen, dressed in his military uniform, noticed something had dropped from his hat. Bending down, he saw it was the metal emblem of an eagle that had been loosened while he cheered. Someone asked him what he had found, and Enslen loudly replied, "It's a War Eagle!" History was made as the new cry echoed throughout the stadium the next day as Auburn battled Georgia.

No one knows which of these stories is the most cred-ible and while the origin of the "War Eagle" cry is subject to some question, the actual presence of Auburn's eagle has been a steady presence through the succession of six Golden Eagles and will continue with the most recent, "Tiger" or "War Eagle VI". And as always, the soaring spirit of Auburn will be embodied in the voices of its students as they echo that unique cry of victory - "War Eagle!"

WAAAAAR EAGLE! HEY!!!

Sorry snobby

I tell you guys something, going undefeated in the SEC in any season is a major acomplishment Every school plays a piss poor team ( we played Florida A&M ) if the coaches hadn't yanked the 1st and 2nd string we would have scored 100pts against them

We are still going to kick y'all asses though
