I cant really find anything interesting - in fact, its quite a boring website. Are you talking abou the Americans that volunteered?

Im just trying to figure out what you were getting at.

I guess its not that interesting to me because Ive heard of or read about Americans acting basically as mercenaries in just about every conflict in the 20th century for whatever reasons of their own.

The Neutral Observer was attempting to stimulate conversation on the Balkans, Bosnia, Kosovo, mercenaries, peace-keeping, or whatever else anyone wanted to talk about related to that subject.

The site was a starting point. The Neutral Observer figured it would generate interest in the discussion because people on this site are interested in such things.

There was no hidden motive.
