Is it legal to just look up someones license on the website and then mail it to that address? Thanks for any help........

I would say that if you are going to have a firearm delivered to them, you better let them know about it beforehand

I think you need to get a signed FFL copy.

There is no legal requirement for a non-licensee to obtain a signed copy of the receiver's FFL, however, it is illegal for a non-licensee to ship interstate to anyone but an FFL.   The Ez-Check is a good way to determine if the FFL is valid and matches the mailing address you've been given.

You definatly do not need  a copy of thier license, you definatly shoudl notify them a gun is comming. they will need your name/address to log the receipt into thier FFL bound book.
