I noticed that my turn signal was blinking twice as fast today, so I checked it out. Turns out the rear passenger turn signal/brake light is out....The weird thing is, in my manual it lists the tail lamp and rear turn signal/brake as the same part #, so I guess it isnt a bulb problem. That rear light doesnt work for emergency lights either btw. Any of you guys know what my problem can be? Its a 2004 f-150 . Thanks One more note, the stop/turn fuse is common for both sides, so that is ruled out also(checked it to be sure) |
thanks for the quick response....I did some reading and noticed this bulb has two different "candle power" ratings. I'll replace the bulb if ford hasnt hid all of them from me like they did my tire

If your blinker flashes fast on one side - I'ts a programmed indicator to tell you that a bulb is out. Almost all modern vehicles have this feature. IT'S A BULB PROBLEM! If it's your rear tail/turn, just pull the bulb and take it to the parts store for a replacement - Don't try to get too cryptic on the part numbers - it's just a blown $1.29 (for 2) bulb. |
