Is there a more depressing town in this country? I have driven through a couple times on my way between MO and NC, and man how sad it is to see what was obviously a neat little town that has gone to hell now.
Was it the flooding in 93/94 that killed it or what?

And for those of you not in the know... It's pronounced kay-ro down there and not like the city in Egypt. Just like Vienna is pronounced vI-anna.
