I've sold a few AR15 parts on the EE and it seems to be a great place just for that and any other firearms related stuff. But then you get those retards who email you an offer when you've clearly posted that trades are not wanted. So a trade offer is actually extended and it seems to be a good one. You reply back to accept and you never hear from the guy again. Or how about the guy who replys on your thread "SOLD" and emails you for where to send paypal. You give him your information and never hear from him again. You wait another day in hopes he will respond. Durring this time, the guy has already posted "sold" on your sale thread so everyone looking at it walks away until you give up on him and repost you item as "not sold". Is this me or is this behavior common? |

It's just you. Just edit and add "Still available" to your post and ask mod to delete someone posting "sold" when it's not. Heck, I will send an offer on something I want even if it is "sold" since deals on EE fall through all the time. It aint sold till the fat lady clears the check. |

No it's not just you. Gear heads are a flakey lot. Something more interesting gets posted after they've commited to you and it's siyanara sucker. Gone without so much as a kiss. Brother, it ain't sold until you have the greenbacks in your bank. You have two choices, get used to it or kill yourself. So, whatcha got good for sale...hmmmm?
