For interrupting CSI with news of Arafat's death ![]() www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/TV/11/15/tv.cbs.apology.ap/index.html |
Showcase OBVIOUSLY forged documents on a six-months-in-the-making, Prime-time TV investigative report in order to "expose" the President's past and with the intent to hurt him politically right before an election only to see it proven fake in less than a day after airing - that's okay. No punishments there. Nobody gets fired. Oops, oh well. Interrupt a POS show for five minutes - YOU'RE FIRED!!!! ![]() Good to see CBS has it's priorities in order. |

I actually was watching that stupid show, and I saw that they interrupted it only a few minutes before the end of the show. Now if they could work on firing that producer from 60 minutes that was digging up the President Bush military service story, (talking to Clinton adviser Joe Lockhart), and Dan Rather, they could make it a hat trick! |
+1 - they don't have a clue |
There is no way on this earth the passing of that terrorist fuck counts as important world news. If it was then I could get that on the 'important world news' segment of.... wait for it.... the fucking news that was going to be on in five minutes. It was a stupid move. |
Um sorry buddy, but Arafat was a powerful man, his death isn't something minor like Iraq insurgent #3419whatever being killed. His death could make things better, or a whole lot worse, which surely enough will have an effect on Israel and other countries which will surely effect our foreign policy. |
+1 |
THAT's totally different and you know it.

just playing the devils advocate here. OBL is just as you described "a well known terrorist". I would even go so far as to guess that Arafat has been responsible for more death and misery then Osama has (I'm talking globally here). Both of these men are evil and their death notices (hoping to see OBL's death notice soon) are worth a few minutes of CSI's time, anyways its not like the producer interrupted a show that actually matters

maybe the other news networks will learn that we don't care
