Hey, I can take a hit; This guy has five million posts and says he's a marine for 20 years and that holds sway with me. Obviously the guys an honest decent guy with the integrity of a marine, etc. He's served to keep me safe for 20 years. If he says I am always an idiot, I'll consider it But what is trolling, if that isn't?

You need to stick to your college courses..hunting trolls is not your gifting. You've been here since March and have as many posts than most of us who have been here for years. If anyone has "troll" markings on them, it would be you. Shut up and enjoy those who have made this board great...and no, it is'nt a college kid with gotcha lines fed from his Professor. |
This bay be full of Trawlers.... I think Chapperjoe is searching for another explaination and or opinion ...this one on trolling. You guys jumped on him pretty quick without really addressing his question. Chapperjoe has asked many questions on the forum concerning his weapons and accessory purchases. He respects your views and often makes a decision based soley ( is freakin' soley a word or am I making them up again) on the advice given by all of the Members kind enough to post replies. If anyone wants me I be walkin' the plank! MT

What the hell - he asked if either cincinnatus was trolling or if he was an idiot. His question was adressed when people said it wasn't trolling. Want more do you want, a pacifier and a pat on the back for him??? |

Cinci gave a cogent, reasoned, and logical answer in response to your scenario. When you insisted on not only arguing his points, but also being insulting he responded with this:
THAT is not trolling. In fact he was more polite then he should have been IMHO. I still can't believe you called him, "supermarine" in the next post. I doubt you would do that in person. The only thing worse than beer muscles is internet muscles. That one comment qualifies YOU as a troll. BTW- Cinci only trolls Phila. Eagle threads.

I get this all the time. It's usually the answer of people with more brawn than brains. Saying, "oh yeah, say that to my face" doesn't make you right. If anyone wants they can come kick my ass. We'll have a party. But I don't go down easy. |

Doesn't look to me like he's trolling. Looks to me like he offered an intelligent response that disagreed with you. Then you got snippy and he defended his position with more insight. Sounds to me like he was right. You just didn't want to hear a differing opinion. That isn't trolling IMHO. |
