If you base a theory on what happened in Spain, shouldn't the terrorist strike Monday the 1st for desired effect????? ( electing moron with ostrich plan ) Has the terror alert been raised??? ( not that anyone pays attention anyway) Have extra police units mobilized???? Will their be double security at the airports tommorrow????? P.S. tell every Kerry supporter to vote on the third!!!!!!! |

It's getting a bit late for an attack to influence the election at this point, unless they're trying to generate election day chaos. I think someone said the mean time from an Osama video to a terrorist attack was something like 40 days. That would suggest an Xmas/New Years/ Inaguration Day attack. Of course, al Qaeda has never been known for their sophisticated understanding of American electoral politics. |
Have extra folks on patrol in Baghdad... If it happens to us, it will happen IN IRAQ, not here at home... |
| An attack at this point would doom Kerry to the status of also ran. I major attack tomorrow would cause very low turn outs at the polls, and that would hurt Kerry and help Bush, of course as it has already been stated these sand monkies have not exactly shown the greatest knowledge of the American election process and the traditions that go with it. The vast majority of Americans see Kerry as weak against terrorism, including many of his die hard supporters, an attack this close to the election would scare the bejesus out of many of the people who Kerry has convinced that Bush invinted Bin Laden as a campaign plank, and that there isn't a real threat from terrorists. |
That says alot. Your "Standard Load" is my version of "Packing Heavy" I am picturing a guy with a stinger and a pack full of Claymores now..... |

No need to worry. There will not be an attack before the election. The terrorists, for all their blundering about, do understand that the US is not Spain. Camelfucker's little tape is proof of that. That was his big pre-election play. It's not a sign that he is willing to deal, either; Camelfucker still wants every American dead. He's just playing for time, hoping that Kerry will be elected and he will get a breather to regroup and reorganize his network. If he gets this respite, he will be able to renew his effort and he won't make the same mistakes again. Camelfucker is intelligent enough to learn from his mistakes; no one should doubt that. The Neutral Observer thinks Camelfucker's play failed, and that Bush will be re-elected and the process of hunting him to the ground will continue and succeed. The polls will decide that on Tuesday, though. EDIT: Camelfucker is viewing Americans as he would his fellow Middle Easterners, and thinks his offers to deal will be received well. The Middle East has been the crossroads of the known world for centuries; it's a barter culture, and to him it's a reasonable give and take, which is what he tried to convince Americans of in his tape. He has no understanding of the self-righteousness, xenophobia, stubbornness, and spitefulness of pissed-off Americans. It's pretty obvious to the blind that Bush won't deal at all, and that the war on terrorism has been effective to this point. Kerry, at best (for Camelfucker) will try to deal, and at worst will incompetantly bungle the war on terrorism, giving him time to regroup. |

BTW, interesting analysis from MEMRI, which translates Arabic media. www.nationalreview.com/document/carmon200410311937.asp They say that the Osama video was mistranslated, and that the correct translation was that Osama was refering to US states supporting the WOT.
This would suggest a red state attack. Maybe Texas, for obvious reasons. Sheesh, I seriously think Osama is getting his political analysis from Michael Moore. He hits all the same tropes. It looks like a combination of a ham-handed understanding of US politics plus some insane thinking about how US states work within the US. |
