Deputies are attempting to determine how the envelopes came to be discarded near the Great Miami River. The sheriff’s office said the removal of discarded materials from a dumpster “is not, in itself, considered illegal.” The Facebook video, which has more than 34,000 likes as of Monday morning, shows envelopes dated back to 2024 labeled as being from the Miami Valley Regional Crime Lab. The envelopes contain labels like “blood swabs” and “bullets from magazines.” |
