I have a DJI drone that I've flown off and on recreational but I've been amazed how many people I know ask me to fly them around their homes and on their properties to see various things that you couldn't otherwise without ladders and what not. It's trick though since you have the screen but a lot of times, I need to guide it by watching the drone, around trees or power lines. Definitely need to lay out a flight path and keep an eye on it before it gets into open air space. I'm still afraid of flying up high and it just going off somewhere. I do think about getting a license but so far everything I've needed to do, I've been able to with my sub 250g DJI. |
