I'm related to Indrid Cold. One of his people married my Grandfathers cousin back in the '60s in Parkersburg. No kidding. We hunt deer every fall in the hills around Point Pleasant. Everyone knows that whitetails are afraid of Mothman so you've got to leave pepperoni rolls out for him the night before rifle season opens. You know when there's a dense fog how your voice really carries? It's kind of creepy. Sometimes when it rolls in really thick down there in the valley, you can hear Mothman yelling "Eat Shit Pitt" in the distance. I believe it. |

One evening as I sat beside my campfire, bigfoot came out of the underbrush, sat next to me, reached down into the cooler and grabbed a beer, cracked it open, and looked over and said, "No one will believe you." |

I suggest we trade a question mark in for a maybe.

You dont want to be wrapped up in his claws or whatever. And if it turns out to be a guy and a weird shadow just blame it on the moth man. Then we can read about it here. |

Never seen a mothman. Seen enough other weird shit not to totally dismiss it. When you see something that's not supposed to exist, your brain is flipping through the encyclopedia in your head trying to categorize it. I'm sure some folks stop on M. Doesn't mean it's the mothman or a mothman. Just could be some kind of weird flying boogeyman and I use that term generically. I dunno whether 9mm or 357 work, or if they can be stabbed with a knife. If it came down to an encounter, I'd feel better if I had these things at my disposal. |
