You ask what kind of puppy that is. Seems to me that it is likely the kind of puppy that comes unexpectedly but perhaps, when you need one the most. She needs a family and your family needs a dog. Sometimes, the universe conspires to offer you great gifts for no apparent reason …you only need to say yes. ETA: I suppose I got side tracked by how fortunate you were and never actually answered the question about her breed. In my expert opinion, she is the absolutely adorable type that any man would be proud to call his dog. And likely some GSD/ Rotti mixed in for good measure. |

They can change a lot from the first puppy months until the next year or even 2. The snout is kind of narrow looking to me, and the coloring and short hair really reminds me of a Doberman. The coat of our domestic critters varies. Changes their look with the winter underdown(?) coming in, then shedding bigly in spring and summer. New pup can be very different looking second summer. |

| keep it , look at that face. puppy is so happy. I too recently lost my border collie. Thought I'd wait until spring, but Ive been so sad without a dog, big empty house. wife is on the verge of tears every night. semi retired with tons of free time, I can leave house without worrying about a puppy . Finding out I miss the walks in the woods with a dog more than motorcycle rides etc. |

Came here to post, pretty much exactly this. Sometimes Fate has a way of intervening, in a good way. That would be my new best friend. I hope that it becomes yours. |

That is a purebred Yourdoggonow. We had to send our boy over the bridge on August 22nd, crushed me. Wife said that night we should get another dog in November after we went away for our anniversary. Sunday the 23rd she wakes up and says she is going to a rescue event because she needed to be around dogs to help ease the pain. 15 minutes after she gets there she calls me that I need to come see this puppy because she will be a small dog and the rescue group specializes in large dogs. So I get there and the application is already filled out. I rescued from the group before, so we are basically guaranteed the dog as long as no other previous rescuer applied. On Monday the 24th they call us and tell us to pick her up. Yup, 48 hours from saying goodbye to opening our arms to a new family member. Of course the wife who pushed for it so hard started having buyer's remorse because she didn't research the breed mix of the pup to realize it would likely be far more Red Heeler than French Bulldog. To say this little girl is tough would be an understatement. But she is coming around. Weened from her mom at like four weeks and sent to a shelter, from a shelter to the rescue group, into a foster and home to us... all in a matter of about six weeks. She was the runt of the litter and was undernourished. Came to us at 4.5 pounds as 10 weeks, and we've had her for four weeks today and she's around 10 pounds now. Finally settling in and starting to take to obedience training slowly. Every time the wife gets ready to give up, she makes an incremental improvement. She just needs time, stability, security, and consistency and she will be great. Good luck OP! You're FUCKED!
